This summer, one of our valued clients, Suma, invited us to St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, to celebrate her marriage. It was the perfect opportunity to discuss how life changes, like going from single or head of household to married filing jointly or separately, can impact tax filings.
While enjoying the beauty of the islands, we also made the trip a productive one by conducting client meetings, turning travel expenses such as airfare, hotel, transportation, and meals into legitimate business deductions.
